White vinegar is one of the most effective limescale removers.  Use a solution of one part water/one part vinegar.  Soak a paper towel and rub gently to clean cloudy shower screens.  Remove stubborn scale from taps and shower heads using a plastic bag, dish, or a pre-soaked rag and leave for 30 mins.  You can even use it to de-scale your kettle.
