Keep a set of basic cleaning products in every room of your house (or at least one upstairs/one downstairs).  This way, if you’re passing through and see the sink could do with a quick wipe, or your shelf needs dusting, you can instantly grab what you need and get it done.  There’s no need to put it off until the weekend after all.
